Can you GPs (including VETs) just narrow down a case to at least SOMETHING at all? Every time I visit one of you cunts I get 'lol it could be anything! either I'll do nothing or we'll test for everything!' I could have come to that conclusion at home. Ok, I'll bite. My qualifications are I'm a first year pathology resident studying for my 3rd boards. Can you please tell me what your chief concern is and history of present illness (describe pain, related symptoms, duration, things that affect your symptoms). It may be useful to know your past medical and surgical history too, including medications, supplements, and recreational drug use. I think that would be a good starting point. I'll probably also be letting you know that the differential is long too depending on what your chief concern is.
