If the universe has a fundamental, foundational building block "shape" or geometry, I do not see it being a sphere, simply due to the large variety of packing solutions available, which seems very easy to change and cause a different type of uniform universal dimensional axis of travel in the same universe. I do not see it being prism or pyramidal shape due to the track/lattice shape not allowing smooth movement of travel.
