Are there any transhumanists/posthumanists here? How would you improve the human condition using technology or science, if you had complete omnipotency?
>>16911657>How would you improve the human condition using technology or science, if you had complete omnipotency?By forcing everyone to live in virtual reality, though without them knowing they are in one. I cannot think of any other solution that could result in the least amount of suffering and maximum amount of sanctification than that, because each and every human has their own idea of what is a utopia, and one man's utopia is another man's dystopia. In this way, every man can live in their own idealized version of the world without having to infringe upon what someone else prefers.
>>16911657>using technologyUse a hammer for surgery?>or scienceConfuse measure with truth like Richard Dawkins? You posted a bacteriophage with a mind-maze...perhaps viral cognition is a probabilistic hybridized exo&endo-symbiosis in a collective intelligence using you to find itself.
use genetic manipulation or crisper tech to make people smarter and slightly less violent. Or at least give people more control over their own desires and obv use the tech to aid and cure brain diseases and mental illnesses where ableNano tech doesnt seem to be very advanced but Ai is advancing very fast.Id like a neuralink
>>16911657You should hope your handlers succeed in their design and manage to kill your entire lot using engineered diseases. If they bungle it and lose power, we'll get our hands on you and show you a thing or two about the human condition. :^)
>>16912503>to make people smarter and slightly less violent>makes servile autistsMarvelous...the {{{elites}}} couldnt have asked for more.>at least give people more control over their own desires>makes them apathetic, asexual, sociopathsThey now shrug at obscene acts performed on islands.>use the tech to aid and cure brain diseases and mental illnessesTreatment plans like game passes and managment input devices with advertising and monitoring built in. "Smart technology".>but Ai is advancing very fast>thats why they keep clipping its wings to fit into some social activist paradigm of racial hierarchy and selective empathyYou now put the uni-party skynet into brains...bravo. Man...Bill Gates would kill if he could get this to scale.Remember how every time they say it will be free of manipulation, like Grok...then add (((it))) after? You arent learning from history, you need to learn from clipped wings (permanent consequences).
>>16912503>use the tech to aid and cure brain diseases and mental illnesses where ableWould you be ok with using tech to cure the brain disease and mental illness that causes a certain strain of human cattle to be perpetually dissatisfied with this planet's natural conditions and the natural human life cycle? Sounds like it would be the most elegant and cost-effective way to solve the problem that spawns transhumanism in the first place - the one that transhumanists themselves implicitly strive to solve.
>>16912519fixed it for you.>They now shrug at obscene acts performed on islands. If only you knew.
>>16911657Any non-inheritable technological upgrade is pointlessAccelerating Human speciation according to the conditions and criteria of given earthly or alien biomes, is a safer bet because it's not susceptible to short term obsolescence.
>>16911657AI to simulate the societyAI to simulate the political policy and check the resultsAI to optimize and speed up the permit/regulation industry so that anyone that wants to do something can do it without having to wait years for permits that cost an arm and leg. This "dumb" use of AI can improve the livelihood of our society tremendously
>>16912568>AI to simulate the society>AI to simulate the political policy and check the resultsAnon, social engineering has already peaked for the baseline human population.Making a digital twin out of it will not improve the situation or revolutionize the necessity for designed dysfunction.
>>16912575Digital twin allows you to test out infinite bad policies and filter out the good ones
>>16912568>AI to simulate the society>AI to simulate the political policy and check the results>AI to optimize and speed up the permit/regulation industry so that anyone that wants to do something can do it without having to wait years for permits that cost an arm and leg.>This "dumb" use of AI can improve the livelihood of our society tremendouslyThreadly reminder that "AI" doesn't exist. Your handlers choose the training data so your handlers decide what political policies "AI" will support.
