using you big /sci/ence brain, can you tell me mathematicly which one of those is the most efficient?
not enough information given to answer the question.
this is not a well posed question
>>16916404They're all the same
>>16916405cannt you use letters instead of numbers like in maths class I attended when I was ins school?
>>16916411it depends on if the game has miss chances, crits, what armor your enemy has, etc
>>16916412but with only the numbers given in the pic, can't you?
if the computer runs on "1 SPD" clock/update then it's obviously the axe, so it maps 1:1 for every "hit" regardless of meta-attack like armor crit miss etc, for example if 1 spd is 1 second then fractional seconds for left weapon and right weapon will round down, no programmer is going to give you "extra" attack per integer time match, so axe (middle weapon) simple because "1" has the best chance for matching game tickyw
>>16916416No, because you haven't defined what SPD means. Higher = Faster, sure, but precisely *how* fast?
>>16916404I can see why you are banned if you spam stuff like this all the time
>>16916404Provide me with a six-figure salary and I can assemble a commission to conduct a full cost-benefit analysis over the next 3-5 years.
>>16916428I was banned because I posted this
>>16916436You're in luck that "This post makes me uncomfortable" is not a report type on this website.
>>16916404most efficient at what?
>>16916455damage
>>16916404Depends if you're facing off against low hp low lvl NPCs, or pvp vs players that can kite and animation cancel.
katana easily because more SPD = more hits = more crits proc
>>16916404The axe if you enemy can't withstand 20 ATKThe katana if your enemy has a chance to dodge attacksThe sword if neither ATK or SPD effects are linearNot enough information. Do better
the small sword is better because it can kill low hp opponents fasteryou can kill 10 1hp rats per round. with the axe it will take 10 roundsotherwise no difference in dps, so always choose the smol
>>16916404axe bestthe other options are strictly less than or equal to axe
>>16916404Strip away any operators and just add up the raw numbers. Axe has the highest number, followed by short sword, followed by large sword. Then if we quantify by number of operations and assume a morphism with a smaller surjection is by definition equal to or less than its target, again axe is best, followed by large sword, and then small sword.TL;DR, axe wins in every meaningful category, the other two are about even.
>>16916404If we apply the Yoneda Lemma logic—which suggests an object is defined by its relationships to all other objects—the Axe emerges as "better" in a specific structural sense: Robustness. In a category where "Defense" is an endofunctor that transforms damage, the Axe is the most invariant under that transformation. The Dagger is highly sensitive to the "Armor Functor" (it can be reduced to 0).The Sword is moderately sensitive. The Axe is the least sensitive. Therefore, in an uncertain environment (a category with unknown functors), the Axe is the "Best" weapon because it preserves its mapping to the "Enemy Defeated" state across the widest variety of possible game structures.
Question is impossible to answer.Likely source of confusion is people mistaking it as a damage over time question, but "SPD" is not defined as a unit of time and there is no way of knowing how much faster 10 SPD is over 1 SPD. Thank you for shitting up the board with your stupid meme thread. You now have your answer so I'm absolutely sure you'll never post this exact thread again.
>>16916436Holy shit, who is this young whippersnapper?!
>>16916404The ATK 2 SPD 10 wastes less damage on overkills, but if the enemy has flat damage reduction from armour or some defensive buff, it get gigacucked. The ATK 20 SPD 1 is the best at going trough flat damage reduction, but it could massively overkill weak enemies. The ATK 5 SPD 4 is the most balanced weapon and I would probably take it to avoid being cripplingly overspecialized.
>>16916404They all have their uses.
>>16916404>5x4=20>20x1=20>2x10=20They all have the same DPS. But I'm assuming you already knew that and just wanted to make this thread.
>>16916404out of all of these, only the axe can instantly deal 20 damage. clear win
>>16919269I'm about to ruin this man's entire meta
>>16916404Assuming speed is just DPS they are all equal. If you have an on-hit effect the katana is the best one. If you have high crit chance the axe is the best one. The only shitter here is actually sword because it's neither super fast nor super strong. Dogshit low tier weapon with no build perspectives
