Let's establish a simple model on consciousness. What permutations are allowed on it? Can you split the conscious experience? Is this what happens to split-brain patients or people with a dissociative identity disorder? Could you combine consciousnesses and what effects could this create? Would you lose your sense of agency or your individual perception of continuous existence? It can be scaled down by sleeping, entering a comatose state or suffering brain damage. Can it be increased when using certain substances or through exercise? To what extent is that possible and would it cause brain damage in the long term?
>>16923277Consciousness is not a remotely scientific topic. You'll have to ask a philosophy nut for this one.
1. brain just reacts to environment2. brain starts predicting what's next3. brain includes its own current status when predicting what's nextConsciousness comes from a non-stop continuous Déjà Vu stream.

>minds are unprovable fairy tale bullshit>t. NPC.pngI like how these nonsentient nonentities go out of their way to identify as such and think they can still be a part of the discussion. Not that this brain-damaged thread is going to promote any useful discussion with OP's nonsensical questions.
>>16923441>reductionist and materialistic autist has no grasp on his subjective experience of reality as the foundation of empirical judgementIt would be poetry if it just rhymed
>>16923689>>minds are unprovable fairy tale bullshitNot any mind but your mind. Have you never asked yourself some basic questions on how your consciousness arises? The world is really full of automatons mimicking an inner experience.

>>16923277Split brains are separate consciousness, but it is considered a form of brain damage, another chemical that can temporarily induce split brain is psilocybin.I sometime get hypnogogic hallucinations in my "double", where I'm smoking cigarettes or doing something somewhere else while laying in my bed, so people can be physically dislocated in space and have "Disembodied" corporeal experience independent of the physical self.5-htp before bed gives me parasomnia hallucinations of corporeal beings outside of the body. Most hylics don't know this, but they are constantly being watched by disembodied beings.>Sleep-related hallucinations are a type of parasomnia where a person experiences false perceptions such as seeing, hearing, feeling, or smelling things that aren’t real while falling asleep (hypnagogic) or waking up (hypnopompic). These hallucinations can be vivid and frightening, often involving shadowy figures, voices, or the sensation of being touched, and may occur during the transitional phases between wakefulness and sleep.>*touched* Molecules can actually "sense" perturbations in magnetic moments of a field and allow remote telegraphy of the subtle body into a paracosm dimension whereby in 4th dimensional space-time can allow for a closed virtual entropy system, and it's called the psychotronic universe. The body acts like an antenna, and consciousness is received from virtual particle pair creations that can alter chaotic attractor states, the mind is a nonlinear, self-modifying, complex field perturbation. You can actually detect extra-bodily corporeal beings through EEG of the somatosensory cortex of the human brain. When the mind is in this transitional paracosm state.>proofJust take shrooms, and 5-htp before bed and you will wake up to demons or hallucinate your split brain teasing you.
