I thought that having elevated intelligence meant being further away from our animalistic behavior than the midwits, but a girl from my university is making me question that.I'm a freshman on a Physics-heavy course. In my class there's a girl that wrote on her bio that she's gifted. I believe her. She graduated from a prestigious high school, did slightly well at a maths olympiad and, well, is studying at an excellent uni.However, her behavior caught me attention in a negative way. I thought that a gifted kid would also have good manners. But this girl already got two orbiters and they do small talk during the lessons, which pisses me off. These guys she hangs around with aren't nearly as smart as her; in fact, they probably only are there because of quotas.Were my expectations wrong and women are just women or there's something I'm missing?
