Do you think big pharma is hiding the cure for cancer? Is it all for profit? Or do you think it's all bullshit?
cancer is not bullshit but it is related to lifestyleand no, no cure, simply because it is actually a difficult problem
>>16930602Name one disease which actually has a "cure." You can't because the concept of a "cure" is a fantasy. Treatments exist that can manage the most problematic symptoms and assist in rooting out the causative agent. It's not conspiracy. This is just managing expectations. That said, there are probably effective treatments the public isn't aware of. This isn't a conspiracy thing either. It's a limitation on research where promising ideas might not get enough funding to be sufficiently explored. If every vaguely promising treatment got full funding to be tested for safety, efficacy, etc. then the institutions funding them would be bankrupt overnight.
>>16930620>Name one disease that actually has a "cure.">Down Syndrome >Bullet
>>16930620>Name one disease which actually has a "cure."Leprosy was cure by Jesus multiple times. Modern medicine now has rediscovered the drugs that Jesus used and can cure your leprosy also.
when the fuck was the last time big pharma actually cured anything? the invention of antibiotics?
>>16930620Second statement contradict the first. Some diseases can be cured and of those, most are cured through natural means, as in, no intervention at all. Scurvy. Torn ligaments, kideny stones, etc. What is your proprietary definition of disease?
>>16930676By disease I'm referring specifically to biological invasion or mutation of the organism. So I'm excluding mechanical stress, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, and mineral buildups.I'm including cancer, bacteria, viruses, and internal parasites.>most are cured through natural means, as in, no intervention at all.Which is actually my point. Ofc I wasn't saying every ailment is a lifelong affliction because that's retarded. What's more pressing is the definition of "cure." There's no singular smoking gun compound that will miraculously heal these sorts of maladies. What we have are symptom management and what are essentially microbial pesticides which you have to take for an extended period, have nasty side effects, and have a variable chance of even working. If you count those as "cures," then we do have a cure for cancer. It's called chemo.
>>16930602cancer is a group of hundreds of diseases each with their own symptoms, progression, death rates
Just do monthly 2+ day fastsPeople get cancer because they're always eating. It's good to be hungry sometimes
>>16930602More like not even trying and instead focusing only in expensive treatments to boost profits.
>>16930652I’d say prosthetic limbs and hearing aids
>>16931062>>16930652On, and also LASIK
>>16930652>when the fuck was the last time big pharma actually cured anything?I'm sure you can just type in blockbuster drugs 2026 into google and find something. The problem is that the medical problems of today are just really difficult and often not directly "curable" using a simple drug.
>frog>big pharmaI'm out of here
>>16930652they could have cured covid if antivax chuds had just gotten their shot plus all 11 boosters
>>16930602chlorine dioxide
Should we be calling it big baubleing?
>>16930620Plenty of diseases have cures in the form of antibiotics and antivirals. If the cause of the disease is completely eradicated from a patient's body, then they are in fact cured, and it goes beyond managing or assisting anything. Not all diseases are like HIV, where it persists forever at some low level despite all efforts to treat it. Many of them can be completely eliminated and then don't require ongoing treatments, because there is nothing left to treat anymore
>>16931374See >>16930679
>>16930620>promising ideas might not get enough fundingperhaps promising ideas might negatively impact income
The cure for cancer will not be seen until we have the new heavens & earth, because human DNA was contaminated in the pre flood era, and can't be fixed without abrogating the rules of the current creation...which means creating a new heaven and earth.
>>16931673If successful, it would be a massive cash cow. It would be impossible to compete with the miracle drug so whoever owns the rights to it would dominate the industry. The concept that treatments are being suppressed for monetary gain is nothing short of retardation.
Thoughts on inhibitor/tumor suppression drugs?
>>16930602>>16930619Most cancers are cells reversing their CREBS-cycle to survive as independents in a tissue that has lost its bioelectrical unity. You fuck up a tissues unity by applying foreign voltage elements and nonbiologic molecules. Petrochemicals like benzene are especially cancerous because they steal oxygen and disrupt the voltage gradient that the crebs-cycle AND tissue coherence is sensitive to.
>>>>16932531
>>16930620I was about to comment something similar. Cures don't exist. There's no ailment where you can take some magic pill and instantly you're 100% better and rid of any sign of disease or illness or injury. People can get better from their ailments and treatments can help along the healing process.
>take cancer biopsy>grow biopsy in lab >run cancer drug trials on the cancer>determine the best cancer drug for killing the specific cancer in the patient>chemo lasts 2-3 weeks>be cancer free
>>16935097That's not the smoking gin you think it is.The research was highly speculative at the time (still is) and a billion other cancer treatments were being explored.
>>16930602>Do you think big pharma is hiding the cure for cancer?Highly unlikely. Big pharma managers are not immortal.
>>16936338Non-sequitur.
>>16930602>year of our lord 2026>still thinking there is THE cancer with THE cure >still thinking that effective cancer treatment wouldn't be most profitable thing everSome leukemias have immunotherapy treatments with 90+% success rate and companies producing them aren't going bankrupt any time soon. How does this "le ebil capitalist develops treatment for disease that affects more and more people every year and to achieve maximum profit decides to not sell it" bullshit even makes sense to you?
