Does lying in bed fuck with your circadian rhythm? I'm trying to fix my sleep schedule but I'm tired as fuck
>>16933264just keep consistently trying to go to sleep at the time you want and waking up at the time you want. Consistency is key. You WILL feel tired for at least the first few days when you try to change your sleep schedule, this is normal. Also don't try to do anything retarded like "stay up 24 hours to reset my sleep schedule", that shit doesn't work.
>>16933280>Also don't try to do anything retarded like "stay up 24 hours to reset my sleep schedule", that shit doesn't work.Yes it does. I've done it like 50 times throughout my entire life. It WILL reset your sleep schedule, and what you do with it afterwards is up to you.
Do not be in your bed for anything other than sleeping. This may sound retarded but your brain and nervous system will build a stronger association for sleep and that specific bed if you maintain this practice. I started implementing this months ago after having severe sleep issues develop and found it helpful.
>>16933264just be outside, you feel less tired if you force yourself to be outside doing stuff and feel exhausted at night
No, but it fucks with your sleep hygiene. If you get fibromyalgia, then yes, that is going to be bad.But you do not need sleep hygiene if you sleep well, and your need to sleep is great. Similarly you do not need a lot of it either if you are having periods of insomnia or low sleep quality. There is also no real alternative to melatonin.
>>16933264Lie in bed in the sun. Pull up window blinds.
