Me too. I certainly don’t want to work in what people refer to as the “cs industry.” What they’re actually referring to is the gay web programming industry. Saying that Computer Science programs are web programming training courses is like saying that English degree programs are customer service training programs. It makes no sense. CS is a specialized field of math known as optimization, and its applications go well beyond physical computers. I love this field and studying in it, but I wouldn’t touch the so-called “industry” of gay web programming with a ten-foot pole.
