Any day now bros
Good thing it didn't go anywhere, as if they actually got to the point of sending people toward Mars, those people almost certainly would have died and it would have been a setback and deterrent for any other org which might do a better job of it
Mars is such a far off pipe dream at the moment. The current Moon Plan is far more valuable because of the massive reserves of Helium-3. Mars doesn't really have anything we don't currently have on earth. Venus is far more interesting for resource extraction.Basically Luna is where we will get resources for Nuclear Energy.Venus would provide the GAS and then Mars is where we begin extracting metal to sustain the other colonies...On Earth we live as KINGS.
>>16951052Depending on who you ask, helium-3 for fusion from the moon might not be a viable energy source, at least not in the near future. No one has yet demonstrated reliable net energy gain from a fusion reactor, and we don't know how far off that might be. And while helium-3 is more abundant on the moon, you would still have to process massive amounts of lunar regolith to acquire any useful amounts of the stuff, and spend money and energy somehow transporting it back here. Such that if/when we can do useful fusion, it still might be better to use other fuels which are found here on earth
we need nuclear fusion and artificial gravity and working toilets. no way gpo mars without ag, one of the 4 artimeis now has eye problems already. t. ESLt. student
>>16951329also need cyber freezers like Alien & Aliens
>>16951329I wouldn't worry about the toilets. Whatever spacecraft takes people to Mars will be completely different from Orion, and much bigger. No one's thinking of taking a months-long flight to Mars in a craft the size of a small camper
>>16951329>working toiletsThere are several projects going on this topic. USAF want the pilots to get relief while remaining seated in the cockpit. I guess the Eudeamon type solution will become a reality.
>>16950961wasn't it a scam right from the beginning?
>>16951329toilets should work well enough in mars gravity, just pay a little more attention
>>16951716I got to know some of the insiders including Bas Lansdorp. I don't think they were out to scam anyone, but they never had a really viable plan.
>>16951896they did take money from people thoughwas Elisabeth Holmes a scammer or she just never had a really viable plan?
