Will man ever land on Uranus?
>>16958840not on mine!
Many men have certainly landed in your anus.
>>16958840
>>16958840fun fact
>>16958840let's just focus on using probes
Johann Bode was a homo for naming it after Ouranos.
>>16958840I was roofied and probably anally raped 13 years ago
>>16959228They could only withstand Uranus from a distance with flybys.
>>16959155what happened?non consent comet made a white cloud?
>>16960314The pic is just bait, the claim is about why Uranus' axis is tilted.
Not this one.
>>16959154out of the many dumb things this guy made a career saying one I remember was something like "YOU KNO DEY'S NO GOD CAUSE YO DICK IS RIGHT NEXT TO YO BUTT! WHO WOULD PUT AN ENTERTAINMENT CENTER RIGHT NEXT TO A SEWAGE PLANT?? DATS SO RANDOM LOL" and then the next day he got uhakshuallied by like a dozen biologists who said actually it's not random, it's by far the most efficient and biologically sound design for [lengthy reasons]
I entered the catalog, pressed bottom and saw Uranus
When I am dictator of the world I will rename this planet Ouranos
Wouldn't you just go through the ginormous gass atmosphere until you're cruched by nine million megapascals of pressure?
>>16958840The entry would be hard, there is a thick cover that's sure to warm up any entering probe. But then the obvious question arises. How deep do we want to go? How deep can we even go? From a practical standpoint it's basically an endless descent. Getting anything out is also a more important question after a certain point.
>>16964355No, that's just scientists being retarded again. Anything turns to solid under enough pressure. Uranus almost certainly has a solid surface you could land on.
>>16964633Yeah, that surface is called the core.
>>16959155Is it still recovering? Can we send them hopes and prayers?
>>16964971Uranus will never recover after that penetration.
>>16958840Are you actually this fucking retarded?
>>16958840No, not on mine.
>>16958840the fact that only one spacecraft has ever visited uranus and neptune is so disappointing
>>16958840It's a stretch goal
>>16967662a Cassini class mission that can stop and orbit and drop a probe was in the works but got cancelled due to funding. Now the earliest possible launch window is 2031 with an arrival some time in 2044, but they haven’t even started building the damn thing yet and the economy is going into the shitter so we’ll probably miss that. They could have also used a Titan-Saturn assist to send the actual Cassini for another flyby (no stopping because not enough fuel) but NOOOOO, you had to go and burn it up instead?
>>16958840I did that a week ago already it's old news.
>>16958840I already landed on urmomsanus several times actually.
gonna have to wait until 2045 to probe uranus
>>16958840What is there to land on?
