Natural selection operates within whatever environment a species is attempting to thrive in. The various societies people have created throughout the world are part of that environment. If a society ends up encouraging eusocial breeding patterns where a minority do most of the breeding while the rest are serving support roles to facilitate that breeding, then nature will select those that fit their roles to perform them.
