According to mainstream scientists. Not even these people (who have lived isolated and inbred for 60,000 years) are "pure". No one is pure. Race isn't allowed to exist. Ever. People's ancestry doesn't cluster "discretely enough" by their standards and never will.
>"Doesn't cluster discretely enough".>"Too much continuum".
>>16968787>isolated and inbred for 60,000 yearsYou have nothing to back that number up.Even today they probably aren't completely isolated. Andamanese groups historically traded with them and that may never have stopped. It's just modern civilizations that they reject any contact with due to some colonial shenanigans that happened in the 1880's. They share a lot of cultural customs with the Jarawa and Onga so gene flow may still be ongoing, albeit among protected tribes.
Could be both survival and stopping foreign invaders they hunt.
>>16968818The 1880s reference is to Portman's expeditions. He took several Sentinelese by force for "study" in Port Blair, several died quickly, the others were returned with gifts. The rejection of contact is usually dated to that. Whether trade with Jarawa continued after that point is genuinely not well documented, the isolation of the island makes it hard to say.
>>16968788Learn what a principal component is (and how many there are)
>>16968788Oh look at that, at 2D map of DNA. Blessed math, the genetic code isnt millions of bases anymore, two numbers suffice
>>16968788According to your plot these are the most quintessentially European people in existence, with almost no trace of african or asiatic admixture.
>>16968867>I dont know what SNPs are or how DNA actually works Good to know
>>16968818/threadAdding onto this, they did make contact with modern civilization in the 1800s and many of them died from diseases.
