I want to learn the basics of sociology, economics, linguistics, so that I can try to influence people better, can anyone recommend beginner friendly books, articles, online courses, or short overviews for each field?

>>16970351The best way to influence people is to exert power. To do that you need authority or money.That said, I'd suggest something easily digestible like Khan Academy for economics and sociology. After that find any reputable university website and check which literature is used for their econ/soc/ling/etc. courses and skim through those.
