Back in my college days, I was in a film class lecture about cameras. And the female professor was telling us about how cameras are racist. And some student asked why she is making a camera lecture about race. He said that is a really bizarre context to talk about race. And she said, "I know, but the university requires us professors to talk about racial injustice a minimum number of times each semester in my courses so I have to incorporate racial injustice into my lectures somehow or else the university will punish me."This really happened. I never knew universities did that stuff but apparently universities really force professors to make their lectures woke even if it is completely irrelevant lol.

>>16971390Sounds like a shitty professor, she could have easily talked about the historical lack of opportunities for minorities because of lack of resources to afford cameras, then talk about some programs to help with costs and been done with it. Which would be fair because professional level camera equipment was actually fairly expensive if you were trying to do shit on your own.Definitely not like today where even a cheap Chinese brand smartphone is good enough to do 4K resolution photos and video for YouTube/streaming.
