I'm fine with IQ being used to roughly gauge the spread of individual intelligence within a particular demographic, but "national" or "racial" IQ at this point is simply pseudoscience.
The quality, availability and coverage of the data are far too low; tests are calibrated for specific cultures and their results have to be converted, correct and otherwise massaged to even claim to be compatible with each others or with past tests; the dilution of the intelligence landscape into homogenized averages intuitively leads to all sorts of mistaken assumptions. Especially since most people who obsess over IQ have zero clue about all this sausage-making, even though they otherwise have a justifiably dim view of social sciences and their statistical manipulations and this is just more of the same.

The test has to be a modern one, it has to be proctered who will mainly observe you to keep you within the time limit (you can't "cheat" an IQ exam), there has to be a legit reason why you want the test to be done or a willingness to pay up depending on how indepth or comprehensive you want to be tested but for a full on test it's pretty costly. You can't exactly redo tests without some time gap of sorts. MENSA is known for their testi protocols because they streamline the whole process and have multple ways for you to do the exam.
