I found this pic on /int/. Is this true? How is this possible?
This is just mean.
>>16975121This is a joke image, playing off the definition of IQ. IQ is defined with 100 being the average. For example, lets say in the future everyone on the planet is completely retarded, like the movie Idiocracy. The global IQ mean is still 100, because that's the definition of IQ. Likewise, in a future where everyone ascends and becomes ultra-mega-geniuses, the global mean IQ is still 100. In the case of the OP image, they're using a version of IQ that is defined "per country" instead of globally, so for the United States, they're basing the definition on ONLY the population of the US, and in Niger they're using ONLY the population of Niger to define IQ. The result of this is that every place must, by definition, have 100 mean IQ.
>>16975121>How is this possible?by a neat thing called carthography, phool
>>16975121It's set in an alternate world where there's only 1 country
>>16975148that doesn't explain how every country has 100 IQ though
>>16975308it doesthe statistical median distribution of IQ in any population is 100
>>16975308>that doesn't explain how every country has 100 IQ though>>16975367>statistical median distribution of IQ
>>16975367ok but I'm talking about the mean here, not the median. you don't know much about statistics huh?
>>16975386ok but i'm not talking about the median, i'm talking about the statistical median distributionthat's the same as the mean
