I have written a model for dating markets that basically conclude the existence of hoeflation and proves mathematically how hoeflation is not only akin to regular inflation but also showing hoeflation as a market failure, hoeflation is precisely analogous to hyperinflation, because of individually rational price-setting that is collectively destructive.
