I've been getting into horror VNs lately. Any recommendations anons?
>>34809598What kind of horror have you enjoyed before?
>>34809601I really like murder mysteries when it comes to VN, psychological horror is a favourite too. If we're talking about horror in general, I've always been a fan of found footage, slasher, and (as realistic as they can be) monster movies, more cryptids than Godzilla. Savageland is a movie that comes to mind
>>34809635You might enjoy Raging loop
>>34809635Kind of a standard response -- perhaps THE MOST standard response, in fact since the following VN is the most rated VN on VNDB --, but I highly suggest Saya no Uta if youre interested in psychological horror and mystery. I'd also strongly suggest The House in Fate Morgana (albeit that one is less horrifying, and moreso tragic).
>>34809803>>34809910Thanks anons I'll check them out!
>>34809635obvious ones- saya no uta and higurashiless common one- gore screaming show was pretty good
>>34809598Maybe it's a bit too much, but if you don't mind strong themes and a bit of gore, Chaos;Head Noah can be suitable for you! It's from the creators of Steins;Gate and if you played Steins;Gate VN before you will understand a lot of references of this VN that were put on Steins;Gate!
>>34810801>>34812638Added to my list thanks! And yeah strong themes/gore/taboo or tough to stomach stuff is all good. I rate movies/games based on how long they stay with me, even if something stays in my mind because it upset/bothered me, that just means it was successful at getting its point across
>ASL18F. Vagina Haver. Non-binary. HK.>what sort of VNs do you usually enjoy?Eroguro. Euphoria was my first exposure. DMMD. Slow Damage. I love Saya No Uta and Sadistic Blood. I love erugoro. I like Starless but not a fan of Maggot Baits.I have Mojika and henpri on my backlog.I won't mention mainstream ones like Higurashi, Fata Morgana, totono, nekopara, hybrids like ace Attorney and danganronpa. feels like everyone already knows Katawa shoujo and DDLC so like, why bring it up.Loved Stein's Gate, Your turn to die. technically it's an rpg but VNPerson is what made me today. I played Corpse Factory, unironically love class of 09. >can you read in japanese well enough to play untranslated VNs?god, I wish.>other interestsMidwest emo. Kpop. Building keyboards.. Cosplay.
