This is it, 22 entries for the Japanese Oaks, the 2nd leg of the filly triple crown or triple tiara in Japan. The race takes place in Fuchu Racecourse in Tokyo, a bit over a full lap of the main oval or 2400m on turf. A race that demands proper care of all aspects for a 3 year old filly: Firm acceleration, stable top speed and stamina usage.
The favorites are as follows:
>Star Anise
Sired by Drefong out of Epic Arome by Daiwa Mayor. Winner of the 2025 Hanshin Juvenille Fillies, the junior G1 that determines the top talent to look after in that filly generation, and also winner of the 2026 G1 Oka Sho, the first leg of the triple tiara. Her bloodline is one abundant with shorter distance runners, could this be the race that defines her chances at winning the whole tour, or a sign to switch her distance preference?
>Laughterlines
Sired by Al Ain out of Bangor by King Kamehameha, winner of the 2026 G2 Flora Stakes. This filly has not finished out of the top 3 in her 5 starts so far and she showed an incredible final spurt in her Flora Stakes win, she has become the favorite of the public but there is some doubt if she'll replicate her most recent performance, as her greatly rated jockey, Damian Lane, is not riding her for this race.

>Enne
Sired by Kizuna out of Lupin by Medaglia D'Oro, 3rd place at the 2026 G2 Flora Stakes. In spite of her relatively short career (her debut race and the Flora Stakes) there's lots of expectations to be had for Enne, as she showed very solid pace in training for the Oaks and an impressive debut win. She's taking the 2025 Breeders Cup Classic and 2024 Japanese Derby winner jockey Ryusei Sakai for a ride, but there are still doubts if he'll be able to continue his dirt magic on the turf, which hasnt been quite the case so far.
>Juryoku Pierrot
Sired by Orfevre out of Happy Value by Zenno Rob Roy. Winner of the Listed Wasurenagusa Sho. A daughter of the legendary and fan acclaimed triple crown winner and 2 times 2nd place at the Prix de L'arc de Triompe, with a damsire of similarly incredible prestige, one of 2 autumn triple crown winners in Japan. The hype is riding high for this filly after she showed her prefered track type, unlike other Orfevre foals, wasnt dirt but turf, managing to add 2 wins to her record being far from the favorite with some impressive acceleration around the corners and in the straights.

>Dream Core
Sired by Kizuna out of Normcore by Harbringer. Winner of the 2026 G3 Flora Stakes. Some doubts were left about the performance of Dream after a not very satisfactory Oka Sho, where she finished 9th, but this could very well have been a shock finish either due to getting rushed and losing stamina or having a poor field in front of her, which kept her blocked for most of the raise, she's dropped from 1st favorite at the first leg to 5th, but that should not leave her out of contention, specially with the veteran and current most succesful jockey of the year in Japan Christian Lemaire taking her ride.
The race will start in approximately 10 hours, be sure to tune in.

It's weird that i want to see Star Anise and Lovecen win their races just because it would be exciting to anticipate a triple crown attempt when in other pro sports i usually grumble whenever a team is in the position to attempt a three-peat

First ever G1 win for a female Japanese jockey and in the classics too.
>>
as much as I wanted Star Anise to win, I think Juryoku Pierrot winning was pretty cool since thats the first female jockey to win the Japanese Oaks

Girls like horses because of the huge cocks. Every single horse girl has fantasized about getting penetrated by her favorite horse. Sometimes 13 year old horse girls stick the handle of their hairbrush into their vagina or butthole while thinking about horses.

This. Shame there won't be a triple tiara, but it was a great finish. I liked Realize Luminous' dash mid-race. Too bad it barely wasn't enough to get on the podium.
>>
did the main race happen yet
>>
>>154822234
if it wasn't a 2400m race, Realize Luminous' dash might have secured her a top 3 or even a 2nd but even finishing at 4th is great after that amazing dash mid race

Well, triple tiara is supposed to be a rare thing, so it's not a surprise. This generation is still very promising though, it's going to be fun when they finish the classic and start going up against the older generations.
