It was founded in the arsenal district when there was still one, because that's where the royal arsenal stood.
Just like Crystal Palace being named after the building when it still existed.
So either "it's not a real district name so I was right", no you weren't because it also applies to Palace (also to Wolves but I don't even remember if their in the PL this season)
OR
It was named after a district name, just not one that reflects the current London boroughs or a city name. In which case Palace still counts and so does West Ham (no longer a district/borough today) and IIRC Everton
