England was dominating Europe back in the late 70s/early 80s

Then in 84 Liverpool won again and in 85 reached the final where Heysel happened and they got banned.

In that timeframe teams like Steaua, Porto and PSV got to win one. They could dominate the decade and the ban probably set them back some years
