What's the most successful formation right now
>>
4-2-3-1 all things considered, even if PSG wins 2x CLs with a 4-3-3. In Italy Inter's 5-3-2 is absolutely dominant, with Atalanta's 3-4-3 coming in second.

4-2-3-1 seems like the perfect formation

4-3-3 accept no substitutes

Death to 3(5)atb. Italy is stuck in 1950 football.

3-3-4

But you have to convert it into a 2-3-5 as you attack

Most successful are:

>4-2-3-1
or
>4-3-3
or
>4-1-4-1

Basically you'll have three midfielders and two players (either forwards or midfielders) out wide, and a single striker.

Spanish and Italian clubs were really successful playing like that against English clubs who played a traditional 4-4-2
