i didnt watch a game since game 7 of 2016 finals before game 1 of this western finals series. it was a great game, i said hey maybe ive been missing out over the past decade. then games 2-5 happened and i realized this league is absolutely dogshit.

(though in reality probably used a fuckload for rigging purposes)The problem with free throws is that intentionally breaking the rules of the sport is not just a viable strategy but actively encouraged. It's the only sport that works that way and it's a problem that has persisted for 50 years without a single thing done to address it. Make fouls are 1 FT AND possession to eliminate intentional ones, make blatant flopping an escalating penalty that can add up to ejection/suspension. The sport would clean itself up withi a season. Sure, at the risk of beign more riggable but it's too far gone for that anyway. At least it MIGHT be watchable
