If anything you would just be benefitting the slightly more fit or higher energy team every time. Fitness isn't a skill its a prerequisite. A good comparison is TV show Survivor, where you are spending the entire game doing Outwitting and Outlasting then you make it to Final 4 and now its Fire Challenge and Final 3 is Jury Phase. I don't think it should be challenges until the end because its not all about that. What UK Soccer does is say its not ALL about stamina at the end its about Outwit and Outplay.
