Hull barely made the playoffs and I have to say this season was particularly shit for the teams in the playoffs - putting aside the antics of Southampton. Sorry but these are shit teams that would have to change out most of the squad to compete in the PL. Millwall very nearly got in via second place and were not a good side but managed to get enough wins to nearly do it. Best action for Hull along with others is to consolidate and come back stronger the season after in the Championship after getting relegated. To be fair to Burney they know they cannot compete in the PL and are a yo yo team and it works for them. The places left to do a Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford etc are thin in the PL

With all the rubbish teams that will be playing European football next season, I’m sure at least one of them will completely implode and get relegated. Hull can do better than them.
