What's with english teams changing their original kit colors? If you go to kit history all of them changed a lot, with teams identified with red using green or blue, it's a bit souless.
they just brought new kits from abroad, you didn't have children in vietnam mass producing them yet

>>154965516The OP pic is actually wrong, the red and blue horizontal stripped kit was never ‘Newcastle United’s but the older ‘Newcastle West Ends’ strip. The first strip ‘Newcastle United’ played under was red shirts with white shorts. In the 1880s there was two teams in the Northern League on Tyneside: ‘Newcastle East End’ and the aforementioned ‘Newcastle West End’. In the early 1890s West End folded and offered the lease of their ground ‘St James Park’ to their rivals East End, who took it up. Now as the only club on Tyneside East End changed their name to ‘Newcastle United’, which they played their first game as in September 1892. They changed their colours to black and white vertical stripes in August 1894.The original West End kit did however inspire the 1995/96 season change kit.
