Drake Maye since MVP voters don't actually consider how much a player contributed to a team and just give it to whoever was the quarterback on a good team
Myles Garrett is very clearly the 2025 MVP but no one wanted to vote for "the Browns" even though the entire idea is that this player did the most with the least

The fact that the retard owner of the Colts traded two firsts during a rebuild was funny enough, got funnier when he was a bust, and got hilarious when the Rams and Patriots got better players for less

How difficult is Jalen Hurts to work with that AJ Brown considers being on a rebuild team better than a team he just went to the Superbowl on

absotivitly he didn't know
there shouldn't be any tampering penalties for NE and the Eagles, for sure, shouldn't recieve a draft pick or two for tampering

Purdey. He was elite last year when healthy, and was MVP caliber in 2023 but was seen as a system baby. Now he's established enough, if he balls out in that monster division I see him winning it

I'm honestly tired of Brock Purdy's gay little dances. I hope Kyle's Garrett crushes him.

What should the Patriots do with two surplus wide receivers? I'm wondering if a team could be convinced to trade some o line help for them or maybe a new corner
The Broncos receiver room kinda sucks I could see something happening there

I don't think people realize that this is basically where the Chiefs are with Mahomes right now
The organization completely failed to build in the draft and had a PHENOMENAL roster that got older and worse
They were average in 2024 with some serious bullshit bringing them to the Superbowl (0-34) and straight ass in 2025
They did acquire a running back but that's not the missing piece of the puzzle, their roster is just bad now

Last 2 years Burrow has thrown 60 TDs, 14 ints and won 14 games in 25 starts. Last 2 years Purdy has thrown 42 TDs, 25 ints and won 14 games in 26 starts. I'm not anti Purdy he did look very good last year but he's not better than Joe Burrow by Eye Test, statistically or win-loss record wise over the last 2 seasons. Only thing Purdy has over Burrow is more recent playoff success

Goodell cut bait on the Chiefs dynasty, the plan is to have KC suck shit for a few years and then they’ll send Mahomes to the Rams for a massive haul. This is the only way that they might be able to tap into a market that still cares more about the Dodgers and Lakers

Mahomes is a part time owner of the Royals, his wife owns out right some female soccer team in Kansas City, they're regarded as royalty in KC, and the team gave him a 10 year contract out right that they have no qualms about extending for his career.

There is zero outcome where Mahomes ever plays for any other team than the Chiefs.
>>
>>154982775
It absolutely is an useless stat because when it released its including the full roster including camp bodies, and UDFAs.

There is some insight to be gleamed from it but nothing really out there

TD/int ratio overratea Burrow and underrates Purdy

Did anyone else become a Chiefs fan because of Taylor and then end up struggling with the team itself?
I know I’m probably going to get roasted for this, but I’m curious if anyone else is in the same boat.

I started paying attention to football because of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. What began as casual curiosity turned into genuinely falling in love with football. I learned the rules, started watching every game, got emotionally invested, and somewhere along the way became a Chiefs fan.

The problem is that the deeper I’ve gotten into the NFL, the harder it has become to support the Chiefs specifically.

The biggest turning point for me was the whole “Free 4” shirt situation. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I absolutely hated it. Rashee Rice wasn’t being persecuted for nothing. He was involved in a street racing incident that could have seriously injured or killed people. Seeing players publicly rally around him like he was some kind of victim left a really bad taste in my mouth.

What bothered me even more was the feeling that winning seems to excuse everything. If a player is talented enough, fans, teammates, and sometimes organizations seem willing to overlook behavior they would never tolerate from an average person.

Then you look at the roster changes. It feels like so many of the players I’ve actually enjoyed rooting for have left, retired, or are nearing the end of their time with the franchise.

On top of that, the Chiefs were one of the NFL teams that didn’t make a Pride Month post this year. I know some people will say that’s political and teams don’t have to post anything, but it still stood out to me when most of the league acknowledged it in some way.

>There is zero outcome where Mahomes ever plays for any other team than the Chiefs.

That's what they said about Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers
>>

The weird thing is that I feel guilty even writing this. Sports culture talks so much about loyalty. Once you pick a team, you’re supposed to stick with them through everything. But what happens when your issue isn’t losing games? What happens when it’s the values you feel the organization is showing?

I still love football. I still love Sundays. I still appreciate players like Mahomes and Kelce for what they’ve accomplished. But lately I find myself liking the sport more than I like the team.

Has anyone else gone through this? Do you stay loyal to a franchise no matter what, or is it okay to realize the team you chose isn’t actually the team you want to support anymore?
>>
>>154982820
Rodgers was the issue
Belichick was the issue
Colts ownership was the issue

Maybe trade one of them for Deshaun Watson? I know he's been bad for a half decade now, but he can't be worse than Raped Gaye.
>>
>>154982631
Mack Hollins had some real clutch moments last season for them but he's a bit of a weirdo and basically has been on a new team every year since 2021. I wouldn't be surprised if they move him rather than Boutte. That's a lot of mouths to feed at WR

>>
>>154983017
Kyle Williams is just going into year 2 i don't think they'll move him. The only reason I say it's either Hollins or Boutte is because they just got Romeo Doubs+AJ Brown so it won't be them. Hollins and Boutte both have 1 year remaining on their deals and are only making a few mil. Patriots could keep them both but my guess is they'll trade one of the two at the end of August with final roster cutdowns. Hollins seems like the obvious choice but McDaniels likes those savvy vets at WR so maybe he'd prefer to keep Hollins since Doubs is presumably filling the role Boutte had in 2025
