And once again another edition of the Portuguese League has ended and I know none of you cunts has bothered to watch even just one little highlights video of the best goals, but it's ok because neither have I and so I made this picture so you can get a glimpse of what happened.It was a pretty eventful season. FC Porto won it and made some unsuspecting tourists famous in Tiktok in the process. Vitória won its first League Cup ever, defeating hated rivals Braga in the final. Braga had a pretty good European campaign. Benfica ended the season undefeated for the third time in its history, the second of which not in first place and the first of which in third place. Sporting lost the Cup of Portugal final against Torreense, a second tier team who was defeated in the playoffs to go up by Casa Pia, and whose win in the Cup fucked over not just Sporting, but Benfica, Braga and Famalicão too.AVS and Tondela have left us and historical clubs Marítimo and Académico de Viseu have gone up. This keeps up the trend of the Portuguese first tier becoming clustered around the Lisbon area, the Porto area, the Braga/Minho area, and the islands, with Viseu as the outlier. In fact, next season FC Porto can become the outlier, if Arouca, Viseu and Rio Ave get relegated and replaced with... I don't know, Torreense, Portimonense and Farense go up (creating a cluster in Algarve), which is very unlikely, however.So, please, watch us in the World Cup and find it in your hearts to watch our league.
