There used to be a big 4; Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and Italy. After that there was Netherlands but everyone always knew they’d never win anything. This all changed after the French rigged and poisoned their way to victory in 1998. Later, Spain became good and fulfilled their potential. Honourable mentions to Croatia and England for being in the semis, and Uruguay for existing.
