My sister went with her husband and baby to Kansas for the world cup and the blacks at passport control held her up for three hours because they insisted her daughter’s Welsh name was a typo and that this made the passport invalid.They wouldn’t listen when my sister told her about how phonetics work in Welsh or that it was a language, my sister even spoke in Welsh to her. Eventually a very apologetic hispanic man appeared and let them through.
