America is the problem, unfortunately. USA used to be based in the 1990s, but ever since 9/11 they've gotten extremely faggy and ruin everything. They could've just done a Mexico WC or Canada WC. Mexico is spic-country and tourists would go missing, but at least they like the sport. Canada is even gayer than USA, but at least they pretend to be respectful.

I'm mildly hyped. I feel like the initial stages of the WC always suck anyways, it only starts getting interesting in the last game of the group stages and onwards.

You third worlders decided to grant hosting privileges to three countries, two of which are famously disinterested in soccer, and now you're mad? On top of that, the current geopolitical atmosphere means that global sentiments towards the US are even cooler than usual so much of the international audience has already soured on this whole tournament.

Lastly, I have no idea why none of you europoor chucklefucks couldn't foresee just how much of a cynically hyper-commercialized shitfest this whole thing was going to be. Marketers and businesses here don't really care about the sport, they care more for the sheer scale, publicity, and commercial potential of the event. To them, it is simply just that: another major event from which they hope to squeeze as much money as possible.
