Gotta give it to the Mexicans in LA, they build a incredible stadium.

Most NFL stadiums look awful but this one is awesome
>>
>>155170599
>9 fucking tiers of seats/boxes
That actually is impressive
>>
It's nice except for the goybeam launcher in the sky
>>
>>155170599
It looks cool, but I do have a complaint as a normie
These stadiums are built to fit in as much VIP boxes as possible. There are a ton of tiers, I kind of dislike that. They break the stands too much apart for my taste, I think that hinders atmosphere
Especially the lowest tier is too small in my opinion. I'd prefer a bigger one - at least behind the goals. Ideally, that's where you'd get the hardcore fans, I'd like that area to be imposing and cohesive for the sake of noise potential
But in general, it is a fucking amazing stadium. It just has a different focus than what I wish for
>>
>>155170599
It's a gem

I like having more, smaller tiers. Makes getting to and leaving your seat easier because there are fewer people using the stairs and concourses
>>
>>155170599
It's the best stadium in the country. I love it so much. Vegas is a close second

It also puts more people closer to the field. The other extreme is the University of Michigan, which is one curved bowl. It might sooth an OCD person to look at but the sight lines quickly become bad.

What's the cosiest stadium in America?
>>
>>155170599
It really is a masterclass in stadium design. I can only imagine how the thirdies feel sitting in those seats.

I like Lukoil stadium in Indianapolis and Soldier Field in Chicago (rip)
>>
>>155170599
Peter Crouch unable to get tickets but fortunately he was able to just walk up to the outer edge of the stadium and look over the top.
>>
>>155170599
Did Peter Crouch have to sit in the pleb section? Why wasn’t he assigned a seat in the VIP area with Beckham and Cruise?
>>

Chad only

I think he's working for Fox on our coverage
>>
>>155183067
Currently it's probably SoFi, the one in OP's pic but in general, each time a new NFL stadium is built, it's the most expensive stadium ever.

>>155183302
Ah, that’s nice for him. He’s usually just in TV adverts here. For anything. Anything at all.
>>
>>155182962
That stadium looks like hell to go to a game in whether it's hot or cold. I've never been but it looks like a really miserable experience.
>>
>>155183067
>>155183333
Sorry, thought you wrote costliest rather than asking about the most cozy. There are lots of unique stadiums at the college level that have great settings. Some in small mountain towns, some on a river or lake where you can take a boat to the game, some with skyline views. It would be hard to pick just one.
>>
>>155183067
Wrigley Field gotta be up there. In the middle of a major city, the buildings next to it have bleachers for people who don't have tickets to the game.

Once you get away from the super massive college stadiums, a lot of those are really neat too. The Rose Bowl has a nice vista of the San Gabriel mountains and is a gorgeous and historic stadium.
>>
>>155183067
Where's the other half
>>
>>155183390
I haven't been yet even though I moved into the area a couple of years ago. The main thing I've heard is that it's easy to get in and out of since much of it is below grade. I'd rather climb a bit at the start of the game rather than after, but people who have been said it's not a big deal to climb up out of the bowl. Can't imagine the weather is ever nice but I've been to games in the deep south in September at midday. Those can be incredibly miserable.
>>
>>155170599
I singlehandedly built that
>>
>>155183404
Lots of quirks with college stadiums. The Sun Bowl had to notch out part of a hill to make room for the upper deck.
>>
>>155170599
That stadium looks too bright
It's weird
Like there's a football game inside a costco

I am in fact familiar with roasting alive at Jordan-Hare early in the season lol. Not saying it's the worst or anything but man is that a draining experience. Night games though are something else entirely.

The Big House just looks like a wok pot in the summer and a frozen pond in the winter but I wondered if the long trek up to the vomitoriums was a big deal because it looks so long on tv... I figure it's built at a shallow angle by modern standards

It was really good for the bats in the area. The stadium turns out to be a better place to live than the crags on the hill.

yes vip boxes are ugly but they earn so much money, I know for the parc des princes 10% are vip boxes and they make 40% of the money per match day.
>>
>>155191286
That's honestly not even as much as I expected, I think they can go over half depending on how many there are
Many new stadiums nowadays have 12-15% hospitality share (VIP boxes + business seats)
My club is due to need a new stadium in ~15 years. Right now, the hospitality share is 7.5% or something, that was pretty good 25 years ago. But now it's peanuts and the club is missing out on a lot of money considering the current demand
So they will need a lot more VIP boxes and business seats. But I hope they still find a way to create an atmosperically impressive and cohesive stadium with good acoustics
