>Euroarabs so bad at math and so in need of American validation that they want to convince themselves that an 70K seater stadium represents the sporting attitudes of the entire population of the US

kek, you guys are desperate for Americans to start caring about soccer, aren't you? Anyway, I challenge OP to post these pics when other countries are playing since obviously, divegrass obsessed residents of LA would show up to watch the US play.
>>
>>155182598
It definetly looks like there are a lot of open seats, could be scalpers who weren't unable to unload their tickets, could be this was before the game since no ones on the field. In any case the 2026 world cup is expected to earn more money for FIFA than the entire 2019-2022 cycle including the last world cup. And assuming the US does well enough to actually get people in the states to care about the sport it will make a shit ton of money downstream as well
>>
>>155183088
Only a matter of time before this greed creeps into every broadcast. You just know they will push this trash to the limit. It completely kills the fucking momentum of the football and the mood in the arena with people leaving their seats.

It's an odd psychological phenomenon in which Europeans (and other foreigners) seek to increase the cultural legitimacy of soccer through American approval of and involvement in said cultural activity. Once you understand that, it starts to make sense why they all seem deeply aggrieved by the completely harmless fact that Americans aren't interested in soccer. To them, it feels like an insulting rejection.

Largest stadiums in Europe can take about 100,000 people. EU alone has a population of 450 million. During FIFA tournaments which are held every 4 years, there are always international visitors. This year much less due to Trumpet's visa restrictions. The vast majority in the audience were Americans.

>>155183132
Just calling out your lie. Clearly they do. The advertising industry also understands this. Football is the most popular sport around the world and both Americans and US visitors watch it in the millions. Lost revenue doesn't care about your feelings.

>>155183276
That's bs though. 350 million people and 125 million average viewers for every NFL game doesn't sound credible, not even close. Even the superbowl doesn't get that many. The real number even for superbowl is much closer to 50 million and they must count literally everyone who walks past a television during the superbowl. If they made a survey, asking random people in the street, what happened in the superbowl game, you would get an estimate on how many actually watched the game. They won't do that because the advertisement industry is a massive Ponzi scheme. The picture also claims that horse racing gets exponentially more viewers than the NHL which is just laughable. The stadiums in NHL games are full even during regular season games and the Stanley Cup winners are invited to the White House. Get a fucking grip with this nonsense. If you believe these fake polls then you must believe literally everything you read on the internet. I guarantee those polls come from the NFL somehow.
>>
>>155183656
See that's the thing that we find weird about you people. You care about us not caring in a way that is simply unsettling. Australians and Canadians are just as disinterested in soccer, yet for some reason the world is not as triggered by them as you are by Americans choosing to prefer other sports.

Not angry at all. The most popular sport in all Nordic countries is something else than football, I have no dog in this fight. Just calling out your lie. Maybe it's also the fact that rednecks think "soccer" is anti American or "European" even though it was one of the first sports to be played in the colonies. Every sport you play is either indigenous or came from the old world.

Depends what you call fennoswede. If you knew our history you would know that Finland was part of Sweden until 1808 when Russia won a war against Sweden. Until then it was common for Finns to change their native names into more Swedish sounding so they had better chances of getting employment or education or military rank. Examples include names such as Cajander (someone from Kajaani) and Berg, Bäckström, meaning Kivi(nen), Virta(nen) respectively. These are just some examples of Finnic names. If you're implying that Swedes are better than Finns, please stop embarrassing yourself right now. Finns have the highest IQ in Europe, correlating with other Asian people. If by elite players you mean NHL players, there have been plenty with Finnic names. Kurri, Selänne, Koivu, Jokinen, Nurminen, Rinne, Timonen, Heiskanen, Rantanen, Aho, and so on. Sorry we couldn't win the Olympics with our B-team but that was because Canada cheated.

Boards such as /pol/ was infiltrated by the Russian Internet Brigade before 2016.
I was there to witness it.
It was around that time Russia begun the militarization of their schools. Also they begun embracing commies like Stalin, Beria and many others. It's not uncommon to see Soviet flags and pics of Lenin in Russian schools. Their victory day also embraces the Soviet Union. I was there to witness that too, few visits in May just to see how crazy it will get, and they didn't disappoint. Their gen A has been brainwashed into believing that Europe is about to attack them like Napoleon and Hitler, and their SMO in Ukraine was justified to "denazify" rightful Russian clay. Of course they don't mention that only small parts of Ukraine was ever part of Imperial Russia for less than 200 years and that modern Russia has nothing to do with the Imperial era. It's just the Soviet Union under a different name really.

The Russian (actually Soviet) hybrid warfare propaganda has all the traditional KGB narratives intact, anyone who spents some time studying them can see it right away.
Mighty Soviet Russia will take any country in two weeks (currently the 6th year of the SMO btw), the Imperial West yada yada, Russia best. They love living in the past.
>>
>>155184996
>Of course they don't mention that only small parts of Ukraine was ever part of Imperial Russia for less than 200 years
Russia was literally an outpost of the Kiev Rus for centuries
Still i do think you are onto something, but i do prefer a russified board than an americanized/judified/zogged one.
>>
>>155185017
>Russia was literally an outpost of the Kiev Rus
Actually that whole area was an outpost of Mongolia. Ever heard of the Crimean Khanate? Khanate comes from Khan. Mongolia has more right to claim Ukraine than Russia does.

Another "funny" thing is that since Russia started militarizing their schools, their pupils started to get worse and worse grades (because all the added nonsense, according to teachers) but they couldn't do much about it because the government replaced principals or installed "political officers" to make sure all schools follow the new program. As result the intelligence of pupils started declining and they're less likely to question the false narrative, more likely to believe Ukraine belongs to Mother Russia and other nonsense. They also believe Russia has the right to militarily defend their people living abroad. They went from proper education back to Soviet propaganda in just one generation. Exactly what happened since 1917. It's commie propaganda. You should know who were and are behind it. There is no Russia since 1917. The house of the Romanov was killed off in 1918. Russia is gone for good. Modern Russia is ruled by the products of the Soviet Union and they even use the same narrative. Only the name has changed.

No. They're something like 10% Siberian. Uralics are Pre-Indo European linguistically anyway but that doesn't make them Mongol. The Sami and Basques are Pre-Indo European but obviously nobody calls them "asian". It would be like calling someone who speaks Nahuatl Spanish.

I think Catherine the Great tried to clear out many of the unsightly minorities of Novorussiya during her Neo Byzantine ambitions. Ironically that also included Greek Crimeans.
The Crimean War was a clusterfuck. It was originally a dispute between France and Russia as to who would have the most authority over the Christian community of Jerusalem and then turned into a problem over the balance of European power, which got the British (and the Sardinians for some reason) involved.

No it didn't. You don't even known what you're talking about. The British Mandate ended in 1948. The UN was suppose to take over the control of the situation. The Jewish side wanted a two-state solution. The Muslim side said 'no'. Israel then went 'Well fuck you then' and pushed the UN out and formed Israel and then said 'OK we're a country now, we now have protections and laws that govern countries' and the Muslim nations reeee'd and started shit.

Like how do you not know this?
>Tried to invade countries to spread Islam
You do know that Russia, right now, is nearing 30% Muslim population right? This idea that the Crimean War was 'about spreading Islam' is fucking retarded. It was about Russians fucking with the Ottomans who in turn started persecuting Christians in response. If Russian Empire wasn't constantly fucking around trying to gobble up everything, the Crimean War wouldn't have started.

Also, you're in Austria, the creator of Hitler who was pro-Islam and lamented that the Christians won the Battle of Tours because 'Christianity promoted weakness, while Islam promotes strength'. He hated Christianity. In fact, he asked Imams to declare Jihad and Fatwas against the British and French.

Wow, so, looks like Austria is actually the pro-Islam spreading nation. Grim. Good thing Christians stopped him then.

I don't think soccer is ever going to become big in the US. I know a lot of brownoids coming here like it, but either they go home or their kids start watching our own sports as part of the assimilation process. The cultural pressure from football/baseball/basketball is too strong. There is an ocean between us and the best soccer, it's just a pain in the ass, even if it is infinitely easier to watch PL and all that than it was 20-30 years ago.

That said people like big events and they like going to big events. Soccer is an easy sport to follow and pretty casual and fun to watch in person, even if you're not a big fan. I go to MLS games sometimes because it's cheap and the stadium is nice, and I don't give two shits about the league. It's just a thing to do. For some reason this does seem to make Euros seethe, like we SHOULD like it more than we do, and we just don't.

>>155189812
Minorities are more likely voters than the majorities that are already catered to. Easier to rally them. That being said, the US election system is designed to completely disregard local minorities with its winner-takes-all approach, discouraging voting from both minorities and majorities in any district or state where the outcome is a forgone conclusion. American politics are broken on a very basic level.

>also average American: doesn't get what offside is
>>
>>155190100
there was an offsides yesterday and after the call nobody was up in arms about it. seems we get it just fine Hans
>>
>>155190358
>nobody was up in arms about it
The stadium literally started booing.
>>
>>155190458
Have you ever watched a football game, people will boo the refs when they call a blatant penalty that goes against their team, especially if that penalty negated a big yardage gain.
>>
>>155190063
>said, the US election system is designed to completely disregard local minorities
Good.
>>
>>155190526
People will not boo the ref for a completely obvious and uncontroversial offside decision.
>>
>>155190063
no, elections in the US are highly machine driven which favors organized minorities over unorganized majorities. This is how say Jews in Brooklyn and Cubans in Florida took over our political system, they are an extremely small percentage of the population but organized minorities beat unorganized majorities every time.

This is incorrect, it happens all the time in football (NFL) games, especially if the home team gets a big play that gets called back.

The seething Finn retard will completely ignore this post lmao.

Football is now the biggest sport in America, the NFL will be force to change their name

In baseball home crowds boo when the opposing pitcher attempts a pick-off, which is completely legal and part of the strategy of the game. Booing in general is part of American sports culture

I assume that you happen to live somewhere where your political opinions largely align with the majority?
But even then, why would you argue that some people's votes should count less than other people's votes? Why should a Democrat living in some redneck county in Alabama, or a Republican living in Portland, effectively not be able to vote for his country's president, or inflence the makeup of the house or senate, or even just his own state's parliament?
>>
>>155190642
>>155190745
Well, I guess it's just a childish mentality thing then.
>>

>But even then, why would you argue that some people's votes should count less than other people's votes?
Because non-whites shouldn't be allowed to vote at all.
>>
>>155184668
Kek, you weak minded mongolian. You couldn't support your initial shitbrained argument so you're trying to swap it with

>it m-m-may not be p-popular but it will be

in order to save face.
>>
>>155190777
Maybe, but the point stands that the jeering at the game wasn't due to a misunderstanding of the rules
>>
>>155190803
That wasn't even the point. If you happen to be white in a black-majority district, you're just as fucked (provided you don't agree with the majority vote).
Do you really not get the fundamental problem with your whole system?
>>
>>155190846
He knows what the numerical issue is with such a system. He's just being an edgelord for the sake of rhetoric.

The U.S. of United States should never be allowed to host a fucking World Cup again!
>>
>>155190846
If you're white person living near blacks you're clearly retarded and shouldn't be allowed to vote either.
>>
>>155191313
Blacks have nothing to do with it, moron.

No, it's an American thing. We tend to be expressive and voice our displeasure even if it goes against the rules. I know this is very foreign to the German mind, maybe it is perhaps as one German 20th century leader said, a result of us being "negrofied", but it is what it is. This is a cultural thing. it doesn't mean we are ignorant of the rules, just unhappy this got called and led to an exciting play being called back.
>>
>>155183743
>The vast majority in the audience were Americans.
And that audience was a vast minority of Americans.
