>dad, who's watching soccer at 3 AM?>alcholics, the unemployable, angry loners...
>>155189175All me but even I'm not staying up till 2am to watch Haiti play Scotland
>>155189201there are so many skippable games like that48 teams was a terrible mistake
I'll kill myself if Portugal doesnt win
>>155189347No, 48 teams is fine. The problem is having like 2 games a day at most, that's utterly retarded.
>>155189585There's 4 for the US time zone. The problem is FIFA not forcing them to kick off as early as 12 noon and doing more for Europe which is the most important market. Sure put USA vs Australia on at 9pm local so it makes sense for those two countries but if you put games like Haiti vs Scotland on at 2am/3am for Europe then nobody ends up watching as the US only cares about big games and their own team
>>155189680>doing more for Europe which is the most important market
>>155189175I'm all of those things and I don't watch the World Cup
>>155189732The most watched football competitions in the US are Premier League and UEFA champions league, Americans are used to the time difference. 4 out of the top 5 teams in the tournament are European. Americans only need US games at 8pm/9pm and the odd Brazil, Japan, South Korea game.
