I'm more annoyed by how many extremely high profile players are doing broadcasting despite not doing it at any other time. They can barely speak English, forget articulate complexities of the game in English, but because they are a good player, they get the job despite never having done any television work, any managing, any coaching, any analysis. Maybe that wouldn't matter in another country, but no American is going to tune in because Zlatan is on the broadcast. They either have no idea who he is and weren't going to watch anyway, or they know who he is and were going to watch. But having him sit and think for thirty seconds any time any of the other analysts speaks because he's never worked in television before and isn't in his native tongue and is having to learn how to be a part of the broadcast talent and how to be an analyst while at the fucking world cup. Let him go work the Swedish broadcast for the nations league for a few years to actually get used to this shit before giving him the fucking world cup.
