We have all the baseline stuff set up to produce talent like youth football, multiple popular schoolboy football tournaments, a functional top flight and football pyramid, schools for coaching but none of it is ever properly utilised. Clubs dont make enough money down the pyramid for football to be a viable career path worth pursuing full time unless its one of the top clubs so a lot of schoolboy talent goes to waste opting for joining the work force instead. The league also is poorly marketed and televised making it hard to export talent to other leagues mainly the mls and usl. They've been getting somewhat better at this stuff but there's a far way to go.
