>>155533531ufwc not being on the line in the fifa wc final would be exceptionally fake and gay
First I've heard of this, seems like an amusing thing to track. But yeah you do run the risk of a team winning the title at the end of a group stage while being eliminated. Pretty lame if that happens. Hopefully the US can at least hold a draw.
>>155533427>On 8 September 2025, Kosovo took the crown by defeating Sweden 2–0 in the second round of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification group and on 31 March 2026, Turkey defeated Kosovo in World Cup qualification to advance to the final tournament. After winning their friendly matches, Turkey brought the UFWC into the 2026 World Cup, but lost the title in their first match against Australia, who lost it to the United States in their next match.

>>155533427A fun but rather silly and nonsensical idea. The main problem being that this "championship" can (and often will) be decided in friendlies, which neither or the competing teams really care about.Obviously, if the teams did care about this "championship", they'd also have to start caring about those random games. Meanwhile, most of the games that competitors do take very seriously (for obvious reasons) don't affect this thing at all. It's very "lolrandom" in concept.
>>155534352it is all so retarded I struggle to see the fun part
>>155534378The fun part is USA is undisputed world champs, you fag.USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA
>>155534378The fun part is tracking the whole thing in itself. If you don't see it, that's quite understandable, because it's the same kind of fun a mathematician speaks of when telling you about how a numberical pattern breaks after the 127th step or what results you get if you improperly subtract two divergent sequences and such. A bit of autistic obsession required.
>>155534415and it was australia before? it's trying too hard even for a meme
