Why is Brazil so terrible now? They have a 250 million population, very diverse, history of winning...what happened?
Smart phones and social mediaThe players are sissies like other Westerners
>>1555569687-1 happened. No recovering from that all time humiliation. They have a collective PTSD like how we have ours from 9/11
>diversity is our weakness
Favela players have been decreasingthey live in academies from age 10they just don't have that dawg in them anymore
>>155556968High estrogen levels
>>155556968Germany will face France as soon as round of 16 if it tops its group. Need i say more?
>>155556968This cat. I will keep posting this same image over and over so I can jinx Brazil from ever winning a Hexa in my lifetime.
>>155556968>Messi started playing in 2006>Brazil went to shit in 2006He's actually a vampire who's been draining all skill from Brazil since he started playing. We'll only have another shot at O HEXA once he retires, which will never happen because his vampire powers also keep him young forever.
Our youth development system is shit. Most academies are precarious and throw all of their resources into scouting talent to poach from smaller clubs at ages 15-17 so that they can sign their first professional contracts and sell them at a profit ASAP. There is often no real effort to train and develop the players, which means they miss out on precious technical, tactical, physical and psychological improvement. The talent pool is still enormous and we have a handful of clubs that still produce useful athletes, which means we have just enough to have a few household names, but the lack of efficiency makes our output insufficient to compete with the top countries.
>>155557525Why are you like this?
>>155556968Why add 50 million extra?
>>155557525It's so fucking stupid how this pointless scene dominated the internet and lived rent free in some of our players, it's a testament of how retarded this country has become.

A full season can easily exceed 400–500 kilometers.

>>155561282It's enraging that our FA isn't doing anything about it, they know we need players for the national team but we only produce wingers and that's it.I think only the government could save us, the clubs are too focused on profits
they went commie and commies cant into sports

history doesnt mean shitin fact, in can actually hinder you because it creates a (false) sense of inevitabilityproblems will be overlooked or necessary reforms ignored because people, fans and executives alike, have a feeling of "oh it's gonna be fine, we're a big football nation, it's gonna work out"this mix of complacency and feelings of superiority can really make you passive, inactive, cripple progress
Do Brazilians eat food like Tacos, Tortas, and quesadillas? or is that strictly a mexican food
>>155561282+ we prioritize strikers, so all the other positions are even more underdeveloped
>>155562486Pretty much our FA for the past 20 years. They have 0 control over the development of players, they saw R9, Ronaldinho, Kaka appearing out of nowhere and just thought that it was normal, legendary players just show up out of nowhere
>>155562563we had a similar situation in the 90sthe success of the 90 generation made people complacent and we played a bunch of shit tournaments, the second place in 02 really hiding some major problems. after a shit euro 04 people were luckily willing to reform the youth and development program, the generation around kroos eventually won the youth euros and when they started playing for the main team they did very well. now I feel like we're stuck in that complacency again...
>>155562517Strictly mexican
they got rich enough for video games, but not rich enough for soccer moms to take them to practice
>>155562517There are mexican restaurants here but they are a lot rarer than there. I've never ate a taco or a burrito my entire life
>this mix of complacency and feelings of superiority can really make you passive, inactive, cripple progressgermany in a nutshell
>>155563537well yeah how do you think I know this
>>155562517Strictly mexican food, a lot of mexican food is pretty much only eaten there and nowhere else. Although the world likes to put everyone here under the umbrella term "latino", the countries all have very distinct cultures.>>155563506I've been to Mexico a couple of times, even our mexican restaurants are nothing compared to how they are over there. Every single restaurant and every single lunch I had while there I was served a basket of tortillas alongside a few options of sauce. I've never seen anything equivalent to that here.
>>155563441>>155557036this, back in the 2000s the average kid in Brazil, Argentina or Italy would spend the entire day playing footy, alone or in a team. That doesn't happens anymore, the talent pool is so small because of that.
>>155562558>prioritize strikers>your starting striker is still Igor ThiagoHoly grimoli
"jogo bonito" is dead. Euro clubs have been pilfering players while they're still teenagers and didn't even play in the Brazilian league yet. They get experience solely in Europe,Also, consider the players in the dressing room just before or after a match. In 2002, they'd be laughing and dancing pagode. Today, they are all combing their hair and making sure they look pretty for the cameras, so that their value rises and they can buy another Lamborghini
>>155562517They are extremely rare, only found in dedicated Mexican restaurants, all expensive and fancy. Even then, their selection of food is very basic, and nowhere near the portions they serve in North America. It's like US$15 for a single, small taco with very little fillings.
