I really want an outlet for my energy and competitiveness, an activity in which I'm somewhat competent at, and generally a happy social environment; all of which sport offers. I think the confidence of being able to do something would drastically help a nigger retard such as myself who cannot do anything apart from use the internet. This is the same reason I want to learn the piano and various other things, I think it proves to yourself that you are a capable human and it's a nice feeling.

I've tried badminton but it was kind of lame, so I'm trying volleyball soon (this seems more approachable than tennis). I can barely swim and I've been trying to improve at that for ages now because it genuinely looks like it could be kind of fun, especially with diving and surfing etc.

I wish they were easier to get into and didn't have some entry barrier where you have to force yourself to play it and just hope that they will become fun.

Pretty easy, circle of fifths you got all the notes. The mastery is in your fingers. Tempo, rhythm is the most important side of it.
Join a soccer league, you get to kit up so it feels legit and it's easy to add elements/skills and improve.
I wouldn't recommend surfing, the ocean is vast and frightening.
