>>
didn't he have like 1 week to prepare?
>>
>>155579314
less than a week
>>
>collect a gorrilian dollars for one match
>switch to coaching the random 2027 womens wcup team with zero pressure
>...
>profit
>>
>>155579390
Yeah I'm sure Poonisia pays well.
>>
He's just the wrong guy for the job, he's a leader of men type of coach and Tunisians won't respond to that as they're inherently effeminate.
>>
>>155579503
I'll take even $20000 and travel + per diem for a paid vacation to Monterrey.
>>
What does wolverine have anything to do with soccer?
>>
>>155579238
I feel like hes under zero pressure, I dont think anyone truly thought he (or anyone for that matter) could turn the Tunisian disaster around
Get the paycheck and move on
>>
>>155579238
>free money for less than 2 weeks "work"
>>
>>155579314
The one before him had less than 5 months. That's still not enough to train a team like that.
>>
>>155579238
Why did they change the previous one though? It surely can't be because of one match, something else must have happened
>>
>>155579579
He was screaming and shouting up until the 2nd goal and realized it's pointless. he's walking after next game
>>
>>155579637
I don't get it, too. It was too impulsive since he helped them in the qualifiers a lot.
>>
>>155579238
Are there not clubs out there that would want his services?

Why does he keep managing national teams of random ass arab desert countries
>>
>>155579238
His contract was only until the end of the world cup, maybe he thought he's got nothing to lose or could use it as a bargaining tool for a better longer term contract. They're out anyway so he's either not getting the job or accept original discussed terms presumably

he likes the sun
he's always super tanned

I don't know their qualifying status, but losing 5-1 to a Swedish side that then lost 5-1 to oldfag Netherlands was a bad sign.
I vaguely remember during the first match the commentary kept remarking on how the Tunisia manger started some random newfag in goal that was then complicit it their downfall.
>>
>>155579238
Clearly on it for a quick paycheck for two games.
>>
>>155579238
based mercenary
>>
>>155579238
>Gets fired
>>
>>155579617
At the cost of his reputation. Yes, context matters that he was swapped in at the last second after the firing of the last coach. However, most people viewing this don't see that context. They see a coach who lost by 0-4 in the 1000th game of FIFA World Cup Tournament History. That's what he'll be known for.

From what I heard, apparently the reason the last dude was hired in the first place was because he was Half Tunisian and cheap. His son kept getting involved in the coach staff despite not being allowed there, and he called up several players who shouldn't have been there. On top of that, he tried the backline of 3 in the final friendly against Belgium which ended in 5-0 as well. A week or so later they get raped by Sweden 5-1.
Herve Renard was actually one of the Applicants for the Vacant Job back in Janurary but the Tunisian FA didn't want to pay him the 150K a month that he was asking for at that time. So now they'll pay him 200K for 2 games lmfao.
>>
>ynw b a mercenary manager for random 3rd world countries
>>
>>155579895
>Managing India and Pakistan
He must have been getting paid a lot for that lmfao.
>>
>>155579895
>senior career
>pennsylvania stoners
wtf?
>>
>>155579238
>get paid 6 figures
>and a fully paid vacay to North America
He's in it for the paycheck. Poonisians can't be saved anyway
>>
>>155579689
He's one of those random european coaches, who somehow ended up with a third world coaching gig and ended up going all in on it. There are plenty of those, most famously Rudi Gutendorf, who coached every 4th rate national team under the sun druing his career.
>>
>>155579895
I wonder how they even find players for those countries I assume they have a local league and all but it must be hard to build a team, low expectations though
