why dont portugal just start him from the bench and bring him on for the last part of the game.the reason he doesnt move around much is because hes trying to preserve himself for a 90 minute game.physically for his own well being, his teams morale and psychologically to fuck up the opposition it would make way more sense to have him benched for 70 minutes and then sent on and told to burn himself out in 20 minutes. let the rest of the plebs run around for an hour first.any goals he'd score would probably be decisive and his ego of being the match winner would be preserved
