Those 20 and 22 point teams aren't going anywhere, are they? The order may shuffle slightly (looking at you chokecastle knights) but we have our top 8

nah, a few of those are bye round points. sharks, sea eagles and bunnies can still drop out if the mid-ladder teams go on a run.

you fuckers get back in the world cup threads. we beat you, but we know you care. come back and watch your boys fuck up ParaGay.
>>
>>155622266
if you go off wins instead of points the bunnies are actually in tenth place. they could easily slide out of the top 8. sharks and sea eagles are also only on 8 wins, same number of wins as the cowboys. if they drop a few games they can risk missing the finals too.
>>
>>155622879
nah.

the only people who care about soccer in Australia are immigrants or the wannabe poms who whinge if you don't call it 'football'.

Going by wins only and not points is just as inaccurate. If you really want to know who’s where, wins v total played will give you the result
1. Panthers 85.7%
2. Warriors 71.43%
3. Dolphins 64.29%
4. Roosters 64.29%
5. Knights 64.29%

>>
Dead genny. Dead sport.
>>
>>155623768
It’s the best we can do with what we have
>>
>>155623833
We could have a ladder showing each team’s last two games against each opposition home and away. If there’s a neutral venue count that as whichever fixture we don’t have already
>>
>>155623327
I like it
>>
>>155622879
It’s a good thing when “we” lose the soccer actually
>>155622266
Sea eagles & Sharks fall out
Melbourne & BroncGODS go on a run and make the 8

could be worse you could have sold marky mark and bought latrell for a million like me LOL
>>
>>155622879
Why would they bother to go into world cup threads when they aren't playing? That match is like 4 days later.

>>155624015
Tbf that's like almost every squad at the world cup. Before long NRL and AFL will be filled with ngubus too.
>>
>>155624381
The nrl is already <50% white
>>
>>155624522
Yeah but it feels like even the coconuts will be displaced by the ngubus as well.
>>
I think next season I'm going to have a whites only policy in my SC peem for the challenge.
>>
>>155624548
They're too soft for League. The only position they've done well in (both here and the UK where they've had African players for decades) is wing, where they don't have to tackle. Dom Young is the prime example, an Islander or White with that body (i.e. a Coates or Bostock) would be throwing it into contact, early tackle count charges, and tackles. All Young can do is finish.

Bears finally have a HoF
>The Perth Bears are thrilled to announce Gareth Holmes as the club’s General Manager of Football.
>Holmes has three decades of experience across elite rugby league operations – including senior management roles at the Parramatta Eels, Manly Sea Eagles and the Canterbury Bulldogs.
>In addition to this he managed the Elite Programs for the NRL, which included the Australian Kangaroos national team manager role working alongside Perth Bears Head Coach Mal Meninga.
>Holmes is the current CEO of the North Sydney Bears – a role he has held for the past five years.

Leon Pryce? Okay he defended in the line. In Super League. But can you imagine if all the Polynesian players we got were one Hopa clone after another, instead of covering every position like they have. Yet every African player, bar one or two, is still an Ellery Hanley clone (but bigger and slower and not as good). And you see the softness in them as wingers that prevents them excelling in other positions. They are even absent in the women's game, where they should be excelling if athleticism were the only criteria.
>>
>>155626581
>>
>>155626655
real irish, he loves PoC players
>>
>>155626655
Union? We talking the real man's game here where you defend the line as an individual. I'm not saying Africans should be denied the chance to play, but that they are very unlikely to achieve prominence in rugby league like they have in soccer (because they are too soft).

This is why we need more footy. Mid-week games, knockout cup competitions, international qualifiers for biennial world cups, mid-year tests and touring sides playing country rep teams. We need more games so nobody ever has to watch soccer again

Mavrik Geyer to the Bears is now official
>>
Fuck soccer
>>
>>155626581
there's just not enough African-Australians to make any kind of claim about their rugby league ability or lack there of. The few Africans down here all play soccer anyway, mostly so they can play for their heritage team at the world cup one day and earn millions in the euro leagues.
>>
Different sports suit different peoples. Africans excel at many sports. Rugby league isn't one of them.

Niggas would dominate rugby league they simply just don’t care look at the nfl
>>
>>155664098
They dont dominate rugby union tho and there is a shit ton of them
Nfl average distance travelled per game 2km
Union and league is from 6 to 8 km per game
>>
Latrell out for 4 weeks lads
>>
>>155621721
Hoping the Broncos can make a late frun for the 8 like last year but I feel like it's gonna be similar to 2024 where they're just shit for the whole year and come back strong in 2027
>>
>mam and reno both dropped for the chooks game

we're fucked. duffy isn't a five-eight.
>>
>>155664134
the English captain is black and so is the Spingboks captain
>>
>>155664519
And what you think they are good just cause they are the captain?
There are blacks in unions and some are good, thats not even close to dominating

rugby league is better than soccer therefore should have more world cups

what makes people think its ok for a ref to have 500k of horse racing gambling debt and then be involved in horse racing in an official capacity and then the NRL big boss also be a leader in horse racing as well and then gambling be a major sponsor of the NRL and then all the rugby league clubs be chock full of poker machines, keno, meat raffles, it keeps me up at night trying to figure out some kind of connection to it all
