However, its other benefit is that it prioritizes skill positions like wide receivers, corners, safeties, and quarterbacks. These positions are the easiest for children to understand and always draw the most attention in the media. They make the most understandable big plays. If the NFL can’t get a few superstar wide receivers or secondary players from South America or Europe then the gears will really start moving. They are praying for an Ohtani-level foreign-born quarterback but its not something they are banking on. Its going to be a long term effort no matter what.
