Would I be crazy for saying I haven't really found them to be all that impressive this world cup? Don't get me wrong they're a good team but they're gonna struggle with knockout football with the spineless mentality they have of just matching the tempo of whatever team they're playing instead of taking charge of the game. Even if they get past brazil they wont beat norway, ivory coast or france with that mentality
I honestly feel the only reason so much of /sp/ is hyping them up as one of the best playing teams so far is because most of their fans on the board currently don't really watch the sport outside of the world cup and only support them for anime so they don't have a frame of reference to compare them to
