I'm always in two minds about England actually winning the fucking thing. On one hand the amount of hysteria if we won, built up year after year since 1966, would be insane. You'd have grown men weeping in the streets, most of the team would get knighted. On the other hand, it might make us realise that it's just a sports competition, and in the long run it doesn't count for anything. You'll wake up the next day, probably with a hangover, and life will carry on.
