I am not always right of course but I do believe that I can read the games way better than the average tourist/casual enjoyer.Heres the biggest issue for both teams:Spain>required wayy too many chances to score basic goals because no striker>Unai SimonFrance>extremely subpar and very attacking midfield, they never played anyone that tests that>their fullbacks are atrocious (Digne and Kounde) can get walked over by good playersI have seen the last 3 Spain - France matches where France won one (2021 nations league final) and Spain won two(2024 euro semis and 2025 nations league semis). Matches are largely decided by who holds most of the ball and if players like Yamal can show up. If Yamal is having a great day, someone like Digne and Rabbiot will not be able to defend him, its genuinely ogre in that case, same way Kounde will not be able to defend anyone including Baena, hes fucking terrible. On the other hand Spains fullbacks are probably their best players, Cucu and Porro are very good and very fast defenders. I only give France the edge due to the french players being currently better physically while half the spanish team came from injuries. If this was 100% Spain vs 100% France, Spain wins it 6/10 times, they are a better team player per player
