>they beat France in Nations League and Euros!

Sure, but Yamal and Williams weren't injured and the French team wasn't as good as it is today.

Plus it didn't have the weight of a World Cup.

Mbappe was fat.

Everything changed now, Spain has a hard time scoring against average defenses like Portugal, Belgium, Uruguay, Cabo Verde.

Two of those matches they just won because the GK handed the match to them (Uruguay and Belgium).

You'll just have to asume France is going to score, at worst, 2 goals.

Can they score 3 on France?
>>
Yamal is injured? I thought he was just shit
>>
The fucked up part is that Spain is our best chance of seeing France beat. Argentina looks even worse against them.

We've been sounding the alarms for France the entire tournament and they just keep looking strong while everyone else falters. Only meme magic can stop them.
>>
They can't. Belgium proved it today.

Guys, should Spain park the bus vs. France? Nine players defending and filling in any possible holes with Williams upfront chasing the ocassional relieving long ball.

England?
>>
>>156597396
They have to bench Yamal
>>
>>156597474
You want to lose that badly. Where we beat the frogs is in the midfield and controling hte ball, the more we do so, the better.
>>
>>156597477
I think England/Norway have lower chances of beating France than Spain as well.

France is extremely well organized, has an elite coach and their bench game is second to none.
>>
>>156597477
England has a good offence but they couldn't score on Ghana and they conceded two to Mexico before they put on an admittedly inspired 50 minute bus parking. France already beat them in their recent meetings.
>>
>>156597508
Spain is not beating France's midfield this time

Brazil had 10 clear chances in front of the goal, they just missed them all/GK saved.

France will probably have 25 open chances, it would be a bloodbath.

Norway won't beat England so it won't happen either way.
>>
>>156597583
>make Lamine a false 9, you fools.

Too tall, won't work.

You need to be smol like Messi for it to work.
>>
>>156597637
Norway making it to the finals is far from impossible and I would only barely describe it as "unlikely". England only look a bit better than them and we all know that England loves choking. Argentina has been having competitive matches with Egypt and Cabo Verde.

say what you want about how strong france is, they might have fast elite ngubus from psg and byern, but what they don't have is luck, spain has super stupid luck that will bail them out at the last moment plus I've seen spain's long passes, they are extremely accurate and second to none
>>

Average defenses like
>Portugal
>Cabo Verde
>Uruguay
>Belgium
Motherfucker ??? Portugal has got the best left back in the world, and a really good goalkeeper. Cabo Verde hasn't lost a fucking match in this world cup. Uruguay played arteta's worst haramball + sudaca murderball. Belgium had courtois on steroids blocking every fucking shot until he fucking died.

Motherfucker I'd fucking rape and kill you in front of your entire family for saying we haven't played against good rivals.

I'm ok with any of the 4 teams of your side

Digne is prone to a red card, wouldn't surprise me if he got sent off for a reckless challenge on Yamal. Feel free to cap this.

>>
>>156598129
Yeah Saliba and Upamecano have been stellar this world cup
Midfield is putting in some real defensive work box to box also, especially Manu Koné. This is why I don't see us losing the midfield battle this time

Play possesion slop like always literally keep everything the same
Maybe start yamal and nico so that france doesnt go full pressure right at the start
>>
>>156598294
Do you believe Argentina can beat France?
How?
>>
>>156598168
But they haven't been really tested. None of the teams you've faced have much of an offensive threat.
>>
>>156598330
"Rig" jokes aside, Argentina's best shot is just Messi magic and hoping France chokes and gets pressured.

If Messi somehow manages to score 2 goals without France scoring one back, then that puts France in a very harsh position that Argentina can capitalize on.

I have them as the second most likely to achieve the unthinkable. But them even making it to the final is far from certain.
>>
>>156598168
Cucurella and Olmo have been elite these past games. Even though they are not midfielders, they control it pretty well.
>>
>>156598330
If we do its gonna be on huevos and personality alone we lost the direct passes that made us dominate in 2022
You can score easy on france the problem is if you dont score their counter is death, and the dont have any right back
>>
>>156597396
They don't need to score 3. They only need to score 1. But they have to put Raya on and bench Simon. Then they need to start Llorente instead of Porro because he has more stamina, better work rate and is a better defender. Put Zubimendi in the back with Rodri, with Williams, Yamal and Oyarzabal as the front 3 and Pedri and Olmo.
>>
>>156598508
>But they have to put Raya on and bench Simon

Simon really tried to tank the match today, awful display.
>>

>>156597396
Francehas always striggled against Spain, even when Meme Enrique was the coach of the NT and we played with absolute shitters they struggled against horizontal passing. I am not saying we will win but it will be closer than most NPC retards are predicting

macaco, Spain is going to finally play a fucking game where the rival won't park the bus, France is getting exposed on Tuesday

He can be both.
Infact he often is.
>mfw the M6 commentary glazing him all evening yesterday when he had like two shots on target aimed directly at Courtois
>"how does he do it, what unbelievable talent and play elegence, you cannot rest when he is on the pitch, he can be dangerous at any time from anywhere"
The hype feels astroturfed, he was far from the best performer in the spanish team yet he's the only one that got talked about.

Didn't we lose against them last time?
just do that again I guess
>>
>>156597396
I have no clue why people cite previous matches as infallible proof. Teams/strategies/experience change all the time. Because citing the Nation's League performance would mean having to cite Portugal vs Spain as solid proof
>>
Both teams respect each other and it's the semis so I don't expect a 3-0 or anything like that. I think they're the favorites but we have proven we can do it, we'll just need to score our chances, hopefully tamal will wake up in time and Oyarzabal will have one of his magic nights. De la Fuente really needs to stop playing favorites though, Pedri and Ferran have been abysmal and who knows, maybe one of the unused subs would've worked better for us. At least let Merino be the 60th min sub and not the 80th.
>>
>>156597396
France is stronger than in 2024, particularly in attack. While Spain's attack has looked pretty average. And they're playing with Unai Simon, who is bang average.
>>
>>156603932
I would've made Raya the starter but I don't get why Unai is so hated, even last night at the bar I heard a lot of boomers shitting on him. It's not like Maignan, Martinez, Pickford and Nyland are world class either. I also don't think last night goal's was his fault, so changing GK for the semis with seemingly no justification would be a retarded move in my honest opinion.
>>
>>156604066
I do agree that a late change isn't good, but Raya should have been the starter based on his overall season but also being a better shot stopper and in 1v1s, which is exactly what France will be aiming for after conceding possession.

The fact that Spain have only conceded one is almost entirely due to the midfield and defence which have performed pretty well. Every time Simon is challenged, I find that the looks shaky. It doesn't fill me with confidence against a very good France attack.
>>
spain is the only nt that can beat france, because they can hide and recover the ball so well. olmo, fabian, rodri, pedri, merino... france doesn't have that
>>
>>156605436
it's on De la Fuente, if he insists on Pedri, Ferran and even Gavi then it's ogre. It's time to grow a pair of balls.
Llorente - Pubill - Laporte - Cucu
Rodri - Fabian
Lamine Merino Olmo
Oyarzabal
>>
give me a scrappy spaniard manlet from villarreal/bilbao/betis over a flashy frenchoid ngubu every day of week
>>
>>156597417
you're not even watching spain. he's a consistent threat, every time he has the ball the opponents panic big time. he constantly creates chances, half-chances, he shoots, he defends... he's simply irreolaceable
>>
>>156605516
Our players do that AND actually score or assist though
>>
>>156603025
>5-4
>Kolo Muani
>Cherki
>Vivian (OG)

It's so over for Spain this time around
>>
>>156597474
Morocco tried that and it didn't work, our defense stopped most counter attacks before they even started

Spain is better than Morocco though there is something you failed to consider: Spain doesn't know how to park the bus. Spain only knows to have the ball. I expect no parking on either side and a battle of the midfield. The people claiming Rabiot is shit are going to shut up after this match.
>>
>>156605833
Olise, Doue and even Barcola are better than Tamal currently. Tamal in Spain is needed to give the team some way of stretching the field and give some verticality but he has been ass so far. Either way you can't deny he has talent and if he is inspired he can fuck any team through pure meme magic
>>
>>156605900
Usually France was the team playing slurpball before this tournament. If Deschamps doesn't chicken out and reverts to his Ngububall it should be a great game
>>
>>156598011
Bit gay that
>>
>>156597474
>should
Can we do that? Slurpball is the only thing we know how to do
>>
>>156604066
simon has the same affliction as donnarumma, he falls asleep at the wheel in critical moments of the game and blunders.
>>
>>156597396
We are the one at a tactical disadventage here. We have exactly 2 gameplans :

>Heavy counter pressing and rush forward.
we progressed a lot on pressing during this WC, even the dictator is doing it. but it's hard to say if it would be enough against the spanish midfield.
>Park the bus and counter attack.
We tried that in 2024, they find the opening twice, and then just kept possession until the end.

Our advantage is our individualities and our bench, which should allow us to keep an higher intensity for longer. but on the other hand, if Spain manages to keep the ball anyway... we won't do much.
>>
>>156597396
Spain beats France, France beats Argentina, Argentina beats Spain, England and Norway beat no-one.
