Big man from big club ain't all that much at the world cup. Every single time. What explains this phenomenon? Do they underperform or are they oversold?
I said it in another thread but getting subbed in as a goalkeeper sucks, especially this late in the game.

>>156604386Lemmens was solid for manchester united last season. He's not vulnerable or predisposed to mistakes like that. He was holding onto or palming those shots out of danger all season. Its difficult for a goal keeper to come on at the best of times. It was probably a mistake subbing Courtois so abruptly. Should have adjusted tactically, defensively, defenders take goal kicks. Got to full time. I suspect it was a little bit of inexperience and not being quite up to speed with the game on Lemmens part. Maybe could have done better as a defensive unit he had settled. But it is what it is, he was thrown on, made a mistake, shit happens. He didnt really put a foot wrong last reason, there was one incident he could have done better, where people were thinking, is this the moment it slips, it didnt, he responded and was solid for the rest of the season.
