It's going to get better.

USA-Belgium was the most-watched non-NFL Sporting event this century. Only Super Bowls beat it.
The MLSNext Academy system will keep growing. There are now hundreds of clubs operating under the pyramid system. Pay to Play is no longer going to be necessary.

Don't care.

imo the goal for 2030 should be to get as far as they did this time.
We won't be the host, it's a differnet time zone, and we won't pull as favorable of a grouping.
OP is correct that there has been progress, but this won't translate directly to as easy a path.

>Pay to Play not existing in America
i don't think so champ. but it should be cheaper. what's a realistic price per month we can get it down to?

>US-BEL grudge match
If the soulless fleshwalkers at FIFA have any sense of -- ahh, you know how it goes. But still, wouldn't it be enjoyable.

I dont think 50 million people watching these faggots humiliate themselves is actually what you want. Especially when it was on home turf with the president telling people to watch. But go off on how soccer is exploding here again, I look forward to seeing the MLS stats

>Pay to Play not existing in America
Who are you quoting?
It's always going to exist. It's just going to be the alternative rather than the standard.
>>
The only way to get better after a romping like that is to change the whole system as grassroots level. I believe we changed ours in 2014 so it took 6 years or so to see change.
>>

The change was already made around 2020.
It's just going to take more time. The results so far haven't been terrible.

why? do americans always give up when they lose?

this
the investment is there now
Pay to Play is no longer the biggest roadblock, it just needs more time to grow
